Mare Nostrum hosts the collection “El Paisaje” of the town councils art collection

The Mare Nostrum exhibition hall in Cala del Moral began on the 24th of January an exhibition presenting a collection of the Town councils art collection under the name "El paisaje", according to the councilor Antonio Jose Martin.

The exhibition shows works of 17 well known national artists, among which are Evaristo Guerra, Pilar Anarte and Salvador Cabello. The councilor has explained that it is an exhibition "where art shows its own countryside, and we can enjoy in another scenery or countryside our unmatched coast."

Also the councilor of Culture has highlighted the importance of "approaching the Municipal art patrimony to the citizen fulfilling the institutional promise to create a heterogeneous and unique cultural patrimony."
Last December the Bezmilian Fortress in Rincon de La Victoria presented the first of these exhibitions of Art collection and Special bibliography of the consistory.

The exhibition will stay open to the public until the 14th of March. The opening times are Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10:30 to 13:30 and 17:00 to 20:00. Sundays are from 11.00 to 14:00. Entrance is free. The Mare Nostrum Hall is on the promenade-Paseo Maritimo Blas Infante. 20
